Import & Export

Easily transfer your data to Karnet.

Import from your browser

Get your favourites, bookmarks or karnets from your browser.

Steps

  1. Go to "Import" (top menu)
  2. Choose your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari…)
  3. Follow your browser's instructions
  4. Select favourites to import
  5. Choose a Karnet list or create a new one
  6. The import creates items automatically

Import from an existing list

Copy items from another list.

Steps

  1. Open the source karnet
  2. Select items to copy
  3. Click "Export"
  4. Go to the destination karnet
  5. Click "Import from…"
  6. Paste the data

Export your data

Download your karnets as JSON or CSV.

Steps

  1. Go to "Profile" › "Personal data"
  2. Click "Download my data"
  3. Select format (JSON or CSV)
  4. Select lists to export
  5. Validate and download the file

Share a list with a friend

Transfer list access to someone else.

Steps

  1. Open the karnet
  2. Go to "Settings › Collaborators"
  3. Click "Transfer ownership"
  4. Choose the person
  5. A notification is sent to them
  6. They become the new manager
